Eel Creek Campground is praised for its beautiful setting, with a unique blend of forest and sand dunes, offering spacious, private campsites and well-maintained facilities. The camp host, Rick, is frequently highlighted for his helpfulness and friendliness, contributing significantly to guests' positive experiences. While some visitors noted minor issues like bathroom distance and noise from garbage collection, the overall sentiment is one of enjoyment and appreciation for the campground's peaceful atmosphere and access to nature.

One of the worst camping experiences I have ever had. My campsite was stolen from 2 consecutive nights by some homeless people camping in the campground. A neighboring camper approached me as well, asking if I had seen anything as his belongings all vanished as well as he stepped away for a few hours one AM. Campground host expressed sympathy but did nothing. Basically, complete lawlessness here. Camp at your own risk, I would not call this a safe camping environment.

Nice private and quiet. Never saw a camp host… found that odd.

Picked this spot and site at the last minute during a road trip purely for a place to sleep. We rolled in as it was getting dark. Very peaceful. The site was large and fit our truck and two tents easily.

This place is awesome. We've stayed here several times now. The campsites are all private and it's always quiet and peaceful, camp hosts are super nice and helpful. We love being so close to the dunes, just a short walk from one of the trails at the campground and you're in another world. Sites always seem to be available during the summer. It's a hidden gem!

A very well maintained campground with sites situated to provide separation and privacy. One of the best I’ve ever stayed at and highly recommend.

We love Eel Creek! ❤️ The dunes, the cleanliness of the restrooms, the proximity to trails, the bay, and the jetty.
