Beautiful and incredible privacy. They have cut the trees so there are little nooks for tents and picnic tables. Easy access to the dunes right from the campground. Incredible sunset.

Great site location, right next to the trail that leads to the dunes and short walk to the restrooms. Site is a bit small and not very flat, we slept in our truck pop up tent which fit perfectly in the parking space but if you were to use a tent it might be a bit difficult to find a leveled spot.

Nice evening spent at Eel Creek campground at the last minute. Phone had enough of a cell signal at the site to make the reservation. Campsite and bathrooms were clean. Our small RV fit perfectly and had enough room for the slideout. We didn’t use the picnic table or fire ring, though both were available. Area was quiet and we enjoyed a short walk among the sand dunes with a view of ocean and mountains.

Nice campground. Host was welcoming and gave recommendations of nearby lakes. Sites were clean and well kept. Kind of close together though. The only real complaint is the bathrooms are very far away from a lot of the camp sites, and there is no map of where to find them…we had to do a lot of wondering until we finally found them.

For one night I got to experience my first camping trip all by myself! I had been working on that goal for a couple months and what a really neat camp spot to celebrate my maiden voyage in!!! It was clean, the nighttime campsite neighborhood was quiet by 10 pm, at the latest, the restrooms were clean! My campsite had really cool spots to pitch a tent (I was car camping and that worked out great too)! I will definitely go again and it is definitely a top 5 in my lifetime of camping (always in a group before).

Bathrooms were clean, the sites were great with plenty of room and facilities close by. The hike to see the Snowy Plover nesting ground is a 2 mile hike across the sand dunes. Plan for plenty of time and take water. Look for the markers that show the way.

General
- Guidelines for a safe visit to the Siuslaw National ForestThe Siuslaw’s campgrounds, day use areas, and trails continue to be open for public enjoyment. While you are visiting the Forest, please adhere to the following guidelines. These guidelines will help ensure a safe and healthy visit for you and your family, our employees and volunteers, and other visitors: Please keep in mind that restrooms are generally cleaned and disinfected at least once daily at the more popular campgrounds and day use sites, and once to three times a week at other sites.Be prepared to provide your own soap, sanitizer, or disinfectant.If no trash receptacle is provided, please protect your public lands by packing out your waste and trash.
- Forest Service-operated campsites on the Siuslaw National Forest are currently available by online reservation only. Visitors can make reservations online through this website (preferred), or via phone by calling the recreation.gov phone line at 877-444-6777. If you call this number, please be prepared for longer-than-usual wait times. Please note that the Siuslaw National Forest does not have any control over the recreation.gov phone line, so we ask you to please prepare by making reservations well in advance.
- There is a 14-day in 30 rolling days camping limit on the Siuslaw National Forest. The 14 days does not have to be consecutive. The 14-day limit covers the entire Siuslaw National Forest and not just this campground as shown in the Rules Section. This means you cannot go to other campgrounds on the Siuslaw National Forest after reaching the 14-day limit.
- No RV hookups available in this campground
- Sites must occupied within first 24 hours of arrival time. Otherwise unoccupied sites will be considered a "no-show" and will be released.

- Don't Move Firewood: Please protect Pacific Northwest forests by preventing the spread of invasive species. Firewood can carry insects and diseases that can threaten the health of our western forests. You can make a difference by obtaining and burning your firewood near your camping destination. - There is a 2 vehicle limit per campsite
- This campground is located in close proximity to multiple lakes and wetlands. Due to this, there can be an abundance of mosquitoes between the months of April and August. Please be prepared for this.
