Excellent rustic campground with some private sites. Not crowded d/t no hookups and lack of large RVs.
Bathrooms not too kept up. No toilet paper or paper towels in one of the two bathrooms

Spot 30 is huge and right next to the bathroom, the host was very present and super nice. Although the people next to us had a dog that was non stop barking and wandered into our campsite.

Lovely site and very peaceful. Great pull-thru with a lot of room. We have 2 vehicles and a boat and there's more than sufficient parking on asphalt. Good picnic table with a newer fire ring. We set up a large 10 x 14 tent and a pop-up canopy too. Restrooms are just across from the camp spot with flushing toilets, a sink, trash cans and a water spigot nearby. 4 yard dumpster close to the site too. Easy access to lakes with launch ramps and good fishing opportunities. The town of Lakeside has supplies, restaurants and recreational activities. Reedsport is not far and offers Safeway, fast food and many good restaurants. We found the park host to be friendly and pleasant.
Definitely plan to return

While there we got to experience the sand dunes and the ocean that are very close. What a fun time we had. It was quiet and the sites were very good the foliage in between the sites made it feel like you were by yourself.

Absolute gem of a campground. Our site was so private and tucked away. Bathrooms were extremely well-kept. My only qualm was that a garbage truck seemed to come and collect the dumpster trash in the middle of the night which was, obviously, extremely loud. But a brief and very minor dent in what was otherwise a perfect stay. Definitely choose Eel Creek if you want something close to the dunes!

It's a nice nice place with trails, wildlife and seems quite at nights. Love the flush toilets and water for washing hands. Plenty of spacing between sites

Nice campground with easy access to the dunes. Facilities were clean and well maintained. You are pretty close to the highway also so expect road noise

We came to visit the vast Oregon dunes. We planned to spend time both South and North of Eel Creek and this location worked out very well for us. Our site and many other sites had enough room to park 2 vehicles easily and/or a truck and trailer. In our case we had a 22 ft enclosed trailer behind a truck and were able to park that connected and still have room for our Jeep to park. Lots of privacy for many sites including ours. You can still hear road noise, but not enough to wake you much in a tent or hammock. Lots of trees for hanging a hammock. Overall a very great stay.
