I have been camping here for 25 years and to say it has gone downhill is a major understatement. The forest service does absolutely nothing to maintain this campground and on my most recent stay there were 3 sites occupied by homeless squatters. 1 of the groups was just moving from site to site every night that was not occupied. I was there for 4 days and never saw a forest service or police vehicle drive through the campground. The host is obviously letting them get away with trashing this campground. There was garbage all over one of the campsites they were in. I have photos to prove it. This is completely unacceptable, I work very hard to be able to come and stay in my favorite campground and enjoy my time away from work. What am i paying for when i pay the camping fees? There is nothing being done here.

The bathroom was out for a week and then they finally put in portables. Just call ahead.

Campground was neatly kept, restrooms were well maintained, probably the best I’ve seen them in a decade. The parking spot was proclaimed to host my 28’ trailer and truck, but no room for the toys otherwise unless the truck was next to the trailer, and who wants to jockey everything around for security purposes? There’s no vehicles allowed off the pavement, no exceptions, so it was pretty tight with two quads, an ultralight 28’ hauler, and a crew cab truck. Aside from the cramped space, the experience was good..

Nice place. It’s your typical campground, close spots but everyone was nice. Clean bathrooms and clean camp spot.

Geared towards ATV riders at the Oregon Dunes. Even with that, was quite at night and an easy ride up the way to a hiking trailhead to the largest dune in Oregon.

Nice campground friendly staff and clean restrooms. Would have been nice to have a dump station though.
