We always have a great time at Spinreel! The other camp guests are always to friendly, helpful... it's a great "community" !
And this trip we were happy to see that a non profit recycle program has been put in place by the camp host. She has made the ability to recycle bottles, cans, etc easy. This program should be put into place at all parks. We all worry about litter.....this is a positive way to reduce litter.

This happen to be a rainy April, which is to be expected in Oregon. Still found a few rain breaks for good quad riding. Also, the grounds were way over grown, and some folks have not learned that their pups poop is their responsibility to clean up, this is a continued struggle with any park. For a park that is "BY RESERVATION ONLY " , lots of people driving through, can't understand why they would, made me feel a little unsafe, or unease. It's not like the camp is on a main drag. Quads and side x sides coming through is expected, they are staying at the park, but randon people, um no thanks. Rangers and camp hosts were very nice to deal with, that is a plus.

The camp host was awesome, friendly and kept the camp in order. Bathrooms clean and stocked, campgrounds tidy. When rowdy people came in for weekend, she kept them in check. Highly recommended campground. Will be making reservations there again.

We always enjoy our stay at Spinreel. The only downside is that the grass never is mowed, We always arrive on Mothers day and the mowing doesn't start until we are getting ready to leave. The other comment from this year is that the restrooms were not clean

We always love staying at spinreel. It is great to be able to drive sandrail in and out of the campground. The dunes are great here

The Camp Host, Karen, is so friendly and helpful. She is constantly working around the park, trimming grass, invasive blackberries, etc. When Karen sees something that needs to be done, she does it!
I have to say that many of the picnic tables are in horrid condition. Many are rotten and falling apart. Some are just plain dangerous! I would think that the park management would not want this liability.
