The riding was fantastic. The campground was OK at best. Campsites were reasonably maintained, but the bathrooms were pretty gross. I think for the campsite cost, we could expect better conditions, especially since they want to raise the fees even higher. Also, I know it looks like sand, but they consider the area next to your parking spaces to be grass and will have a chat with you about any of your vehicles, bikes, sxs touching that “grass”. Unless you are not within eyesight of the camp host trailer. Basically to summarize, best coastal riding I have enjoyed so far, but the campground leaves a lot to be desired.

Always a great time at Spinreel. The park needs some maintenance though. Campsite destination markings are almost gone from the asphalt.
Can’t wait to go next year.

Our family frequently stays at spin reel. This was the worst stay by far.
The camp hosts were sub-par.
Bathrooms were disgusting both the men’s and woman’s. There wasn’t even any hand soap the 10 days we were there.

This was a great campsite for us! We were off in a more wooded section - I think in number 16 - which was great for our dog. The parking spot was just long enough for our Tundra pulling a 17 foot trailer. The dunes were fun and very close to the campground. The rental spot carried gear and goodies and was within walking distance for anyone needing that convenience. The bathrooms were clean and well supplied with soap and toilet paper, and it was nice that drinking water was available through a spicket.

We have been camping here every year for over 20 years,no maintenance has been done. Avoid camping here during UTV takeover unless you like obnoxious ,loud, and rude Aholes.
