Barview Jetty County Campground

This is the loudest campground that I've ever been to in my entire life! (Had to wear ear plugs). So, if you're looking for peace n quiet, this ain't the place! Luckily, I had a spot that was pretty private near the water! So much traffic in/out: planes, trains, automobiles and a fire truck! It was kind of a circus! 🤣 Guess it could be worse! The energy was good and so was the location. I hearby grant you 3 stars...

Loved our camping spot. Such a beautiful campground. If I wanted to be a Karen I would complain about having no toilet paper in the porta potty. Staff were amazing. Our neighbors were amazing. Loved it!!!

My family has been coming to the Barview Jetty campground for over 3 decades and we have always enjoyed our time there and this campground. It continues to improve with each year. Our hosts Ken and Gail were wonderful!

The campsites are spacious and there are bathrooms, showers and water nearby each area. It is a very crowded place with lots of family/kids, busy campsite.

You can access the beach in a short walk, it’s at a great location. Downside is that the showers were beyong dirty. Full of dirt and even a dirty diaper in the ground. For the price it didn’t seem like there was any cleaning done. Also the showers close at 8pm fyi!

Older lady at the front desk called the sheriff on us for parking our car and boat in 3 parking spots in the day use area, even though there are no designated RV spots at that spot. I really do wonder what motivates someone to act like this, or how she still has a job as a campground host. Avoid if you don't want to be hassled just so the staff can power trip. Oh and clean the bathrooms they are filthy, really think this is what the staff should be spending their time doing.
