What Guests Are Saying
Tyee Campground is a well-maintained, beautiful site with clean facilities and friendly camp hosts, making it a pleasant place for families and outdoor activities. The campground offers good access to the Umpqua River, with spacious sites and walking trails, although some areas can be quite noisy due to nearby highway and logging traffic. While most campers enjoyed their stay, concerns were raised about odors from vault toilets and close quarters between campsites.

Clean and well lit restrooms. Beautiful location with great campsites and good river access. The road through camp is a tight single lane.

Quiet, friendly host. He comes around every few hours and waves. Beautiful scenic views of the rushing river below. Peaceful sunrise. Those looking to go down to the water and maybe fishing?, there are a few trails down from the park to adventure to the crispy cold water. Facilities are well taken care of.

Camp sites were clean and flat. Bench tables with wheel chair cut outs which I thought was cool. Views of the river in the morning were awesome. Earl the host was one of the best I’ve come across up and down the entire coast!
