The Allen Spring campground is very comfortable, with picnic tables, fire pit, and plenty of space for each camp site. It's right on the banks of the Metolius with beautiful views of the river and well maintained trails along the banks of the river for hikers and fly fishermen.

Campsites are wonderful. Would be better if bathrooms were cleaned up in a more timely manner and garbage picked up.

Campground was nice, on the river but with minimal access to the water. Sites were private and well maintained. Toilets were well monitored if a little stinky at certain times of day. No water available but you can drive to get water.

The campground was empty! That has. Ever been that way before. I think people were ordered about the fires. I felt bad that so many spots were open. It seems like the system could be better for those that are no-shows so that other could use the spot
We had a wonderful time
Saw eagles skunks and a bear!

We hit heavy smoke the first full day at the campsite. We had to continually check weather reports and ranger updates to keep abreast of wildfire movement. We evacuated our campsite early due to the threat of wildfire. Love to have a refund. May have to cancel plans at Cinder Cone in a couple of weeks because of wildfires. No longer a great summer for camping here in the PNW. But I guess you already got our money, so do you really care?
