About Allen Springs Campground

Like the other campgrounds on the Metolius, Allen Springs is located amongst towering Ponderosa Pines, on a turn of the Metolius River that broadens the river view. Most of the campsites are better suited to tents rather than RV's.

Absolutely beautiful area, clean campground, nice a quiet, the Metoulis river is amazing and healing and so nice and cold on the 97+ degree days! Love Allen Springs campground!

We come here annually. Great view of the river. Drawback is no running potable water.

It was beautiful and restrooms were clean and the campground was tidy. The host was around a lot so accessible if there were any issues, which luckily there weren't. I appreciated that the site was open due to the shutdown.

The campsite on the Metolius is the most beautiful on this earth. I have been camping there for over 60 years. Unfortunately it is not taken care of like it was in the past. The tables are rotting in place. We have used our campfire wood to brace them in place to keep from injuring ourselves and the fire pits are not cleaned. It’s inexcusable!

The campground is incredibly beautiful but the maintenance is terrible. The roads are full if potholes, the new maintenance company is not taking care to keep the toilets clean and there is no longer a camp host. DOGE?
