Yukwah Campground

Great campground, clean bathrooms! The river spots are amazing for families.

Amazing. I spent twice as much at a different worse campsite. I left a night early to come back here because it's so beautiful quiet and nice.

It was about as nice and peaceful as they can get! Clean toilets and I think we were the only ones there. Had a nice walkway behind the campsites that lead to the river, great place for a frosty beverage after getting setup for the night. Private campsites and super clean, will definitely be back.

Great place to camp, has about 18 camping spots. Water and pit style toilet are provided. Table and fire pit are at each individual spot with various styles of grill attached. I did not see any hook ups for RVs. There are fish in the river, managed to catch one. River is very clean, cold, and has a sandy beach. I don't really like campgrounds but this place is great. Online I'm seeing $29 per night of $50 for 2 nights.

Bring a rake - the beach area has lots of rocks and twigs. I live all the available shade though. Many new friends found on this (my first) trip there. Maybe also come armed and ready for battle with the flies (I'll bring my own camping toilet next time). I wish the restrooms had roof vents, but hey, it's camping.

We had a fantastic time. I'm very grateful for our National Forest Service; this place is a treasure.
