What Guests Are Saying
Olive Lake Campground offers a beautiful and peaceful setting with clean facilities and well-maintained grounds. Many visitors enjoy the lake for activities like kayaking, fishing, and swimming, often appreciating the low camper density during mid-week stays. However, some campers noted issues with site suitability for RVs and occasional restroom supply shortages, but overall, many are eager to return for the serene natural experience.

We love going to Olive Lake and this was our third time camping there. The lake is always beautiful and the grounds are kept up usually. The reason why I rated four instead of five stars was because there was one section of bathrooms where the men's side was locked for the entire duration of our trip. Yes, we were able to use another set of restrooms that were at a further distance away, but not having access to that restroom did reduce my rating. Other than that, we love the location and the lake and we will come back again.

We stayed over Labor Day; it was busy but we still had our own space. By Monday night we were the only ones there and got to watch a family of river otters play and fish around the lake. Clean water, no motors, quiet. Site #1 was excellent.

The campground was quiet, the size of the site was great, and the view over the lake (from #27) was super. Having the pit toilet right there was very convenient too. In all it was a great campground which made for a nice stay.

There was no camp host and the camp spaces down from us chose to park their trailers on the conjoining trail rather than in their numbered space so it was very uncomfortable.

Very peaceful and beautiful! Stayed mid-week so the campground was mostly empty. Unlike many of the other campsites, you can't see any other campers from 24 and have a lot of space to yourselves. Judging from the many stumps and amount of chopped wood, this site used to be fairly wooded, but as it is, the trees are very open and there are times of day without much shade. The lake is beautiful with lots of areas for swimming.
