What Guests Are Saying
Olive Lake Campground offers a beautiful and peaceful setting with clean facilities and well-maintained grounds. Many visitors enjoy the lake for activities like kayaking, fishing, and swimming, often appreciating the low camper density during mid-week stays. However, some campers noted issues with site suitability for RVs and occasional restroom supply shortages, but overall, many are eager to return for the serene natural experience.

This is a remote and very pretty campground. That needs a little love from the Forrest Service. The scenery around the camp is beautiful as well as the lake. The sites are well situated, pit toilets are well positioned around the camp. There is no water, so pack in what you need, the is a water source about 6 miles away.

The campground and restrooms were very clean. Had a mixup with site chosen, as #7 was not level enough for the motorhome that accompanied us, so campground host suggested an alternative. We ended up in #22 and 23. It was quiet, private and even in the cool, damp weather we really enjoyed the flowers and green surroundings.

Super quiet and pristine location. The camp host was excellent at taking care of the area. I've been to a lot of campgrounds and used a lot of vault toilets. Olive Lake had the cleanest one I've ever used! Our site had access to the lake and at times we were the only campers there!

The area was beautiful and had a good mix of sun and shade. The lake was perfect and there's a picnic table and campfire ring on the small island in the middle of it.

I was not able to get to the campground due to the fires. I hope to stay there in the future.
