We booked both sites 26 & 29, and it was perfect for our group! They are connected sites, so really great if you are going with others. Close enough to the beach access, and a wide open beach that all the dogs really enjoyed. We will definitely be coming back again!

Nice quiet campground (CG), with an awesome sound of the ocean, ample rain at night. There is easy access to beach, but make sure you note where you entered (it can be confusing when tide changes). CG facilities were in great shape. March is a perfect time to visit the Oregon Coast, smaller crowds (none actually) and minimal 101 traffic. Fellow campers enjoy the peace and quiet of disconnecting from electronics and humans. I walked from CG to Yachats and back, connecting with the 804 / Oregon Trail near town. A highly recommended walk (map at yachatstrails.org): be aware and watch the high tide, best to time the start of the hike when tide is out or going out. If you are inspired, there is a Botanic park at Diversity Dr & hywy 101 with a 1/2 mile walk, plus one can continue on the Amanda trail south of town. Waldport is a mere 5 miles (10 RT) to the north along the beach, another refreshing walk.

We glamped in space #32 (has electricity) for 2 nights and enjoyed a peekaboo view of the water. This is a beautiful campground and is well cared for by the hosts on duty who greeted us as we entered. The camping spots off the beach are large and many offer shade. We had a picnic table and a fire ring...buy your wood there. The beach is an easy walk with steps and landings leading to the sand. It's a beautiful beach to explore and also to just to sit and take in the view of the water and sounds of the waves. I can see why this camping area books rapidly! No complaints / only praise!!
