This campground is a crown jewel of Recgov campgrounds. We were able to secure a roomy remote site with somewhat of an ocean/sunset view. It was site #49 and was wonderful way to end our Olympic National Park and Oregon coast trip.

Site 15 was perfect for a single family. It's both protect from wind with hedges and provides a stunning ocean view at part of the site. We placed a small tent (2 ppl) and a larger tend (4ppl) on the site. A raccoon was snooping for food at night. We and found multiple chip and cookie bags in the bushes so stowing food, including dog food, is important. Restrooms were fully cleaned twice a day.

Great location right next to the beach. Have been here 4 times now. My only complaint is that quiet hours end at 6am. Multiple times we've been woken up by people starting their generators immediately at 6am. I think they are slowly adding in more electrical hookups to sites which will help.

Great location right by the beach. Going to sleep to the sound of the waves is amazing! One complaint: for as popular as this campground is (multiple parties in almost every site = tons of people) the restrooms are undersized and the toilet paper was gone several times that we were in there so make sure to pack your own. But in general, this is a nice place to stay while exploring the Yachats/Cape Perpetua area.

You can hear the highway traffic quite well, and the sites are a bit crowded together. The fire pit and picnic table are below where you park your vehicle, so not very convenient to use.
