Camp host did not keep things quiet. Had to pack up and leave early due to crappy neighbors.

This is a lovely campground, with a combination of gorgeously shaded wooded sites as well as less shady grassy sites with ocean views, so site research is key. The beach is wide, clean, and fabulous. The campground is efficiently run, with firewood and RV water tank fill station easily accessible right at the checkin kiosk. (But no RV dump). We really do love this place, which is why we’ve returned year after year, but we do have one complaint. There are many first come first served sites available, some of which are highly sought ocean view sites, but snagging one of these sites is literally impossible. The checkin time of 2PM is strictly enforced, but the campground hosts provide existing campers with “Occupied” signs to plant in sites as soon as the sites are vacated. So, for example, if you’re an existing camper and have your eye on a more desirable FCFS site, as soon as that site is vacated, you can plop an “occupied” sign in the site to save it. Campers arriving without reservations hoping for a FCFS site are told to return at the 2:00 PM checkin time, but will therefore have no chance whatsoever of securing a “first come first served” site, because those sites were snagged well before the checkin time. It’s not a fair arrangement. Otherwise, the campground is wonderful.

The only drawback to this campground is proximity to your neighbors. The beach is enormous and Tillicum is very close to Yachats and Cape Perpetua.

Would have been a 5 except the smell of sewer gas was very prominent in our space

A wonderful place to camp on the Oregom Coast. Beautiful beach, lovely woods, incredible views of the ocean. While the facilities are older, they are kept clean regularly throughout the day.
