we have enjoyed this park for many years, mainly because of the views and access to the beach. However, the last 2 visits have been challenging due to the rocks at the bottom of the stairs (both of them leading to the beach). It seems that many people can not navigate the obstruction it presents and really should be corrected in some manner. Beverly Beach is using a very long woven mat to enable wheelchairs to access the beach, but that might not work at Tillicum. However, something needs to be done before someone is badly injured trying to enjoy this beautiful beach.
A response would be appreciated.

Camp hosts where amazing as always! And the iconic motorhome in the first host spot is always a welcoming sight! Has been for years. Always a great place to visit.

Good bathrooms. We loved our site. It was special having an ocean view. The sites are very exposed, so little privacy if you are tenting. We did see a few that seemed like they would be a little more private. We were Van camping so not an issue for us.

This is a nice campground but there is one issue I have. The round iron firepit rings are not properly buried into the soil. They need to be lowered at least 12" so you can benefit from any campfire. The iron ring blocks any heat from the fire warming up those around it.
The base of the concrete stairs has many obstacles leading to the ocean that need to be removed to allow elderly folks a safer access to the beach.

Our campsite was beautiful, quiet, and well-maintained. Truly one of the best we have stayed at. The bathrooms although lacking a shower were the cleanest I have experienced at a campground.
