I got on a waitlist to be able to stay in this campground. I finally got notified that a spot was open, and it was one on the beach side. I was so excited! When I got there, you could NOT see the beach from the spot. In fact, all I could see was a bunch of caution tape blocking off a huge area, and a fence with a big building on the other side. I didn’t know if I was in someone’s back yard or a crime scene! I was so disappointed I actually found another place to stay.

We stayed our first two nights in site 29 and the view could not get any better! It is a site parallel to the road so if you have a trailer, you’re sleeping up top and can walk down a little pathway to the fire pit and picnic table. We were in our teardrop trailer and had plenty of space in the spot and also enjoyed a peek-a-boo view of the water from our bed. The picnic table are is wide open and there is no privacy with the site next to it so if you have a group it’s a great way to lump everyone together. We were thankful to have a quiet family next to us as I can imagine a rowdy bunch could put a damper on the chill time there.
Bathrooms were spotless, always stocked and the park hosts were great!

This is our favorite campsite. I love that the Hosts keep track of availability and post it. Tha camp hosts that were a couple were awesome. They had a school bus as their camper. They were very helpful and always friendly. Great Hosts.
