Site no. 37: Plenty of space for our large 8 person tent, camp chairs and gear. Nice stump for chopping wood. If you walk to the very back of the site near the road, you can get decent reception (Mint/T-Mobile) Full privacy to the right. Semi private from the left campsite. Short walk across the way to the bathrooms, which had flushing toilets and were rather clean. Staff and host was super nice. I hate to recommend this place because it doesn't need to be more popular than it already is! Super close to Waldsport where we went crabbing and fishing. Beach is just a couple minutes walk across camp.

Great campground, clean, on the beach, everyone was quite and courteous. Couldn’t ask for a better oceanside campground!

This campground is excessively tightly packed so that you couldn't achieve any privacy and there were cars looming everywhere... also, the flush toilets and water/electric attracted way too many people who think camping is supposed to be a 4Star experience and have huge RVS that block views and stick out everywhere... I prefer National Forest Service campgrounds because the lack of amenities keeps out the people who don't actually like being out of doors and/or come to campgrounds with all their electronics and leave them without all their trash...
Felt like camping in a state park... No thanks.

We love this campground. It's small and beautiful with great access to the beach. We spent three nights here in June 2021 and it was supposed to rain, but never did. It's great that there are reservable as well as first come/first served sites. We didn't travel from the campground or beach as we just loved being there. Great walks on the beach, fires on the beach, sunsets.
