Charlestown Breachway

Wonderful view of the ocean with the option of fishing. There are no showers, but there are toilets available. Quiet and peaceful. Nothing but the beach for kids to do.

Such a beautiful place to spend quiet time. Clean and plenty of parking.

Visited on January 17th (my birthday). It was beautiful. There was a big parking lot (it is the off season, I do not know how busy it is in the summer). The old shipwreck was visible because of the winter erosion on the beach. Mostly sandy with some cool rocks. I have never visited in the summer. Highly recommend for a nice winter walk on the beach.

Great campground. Kid-friendly with an awesome view. The boat access is very accessible.

Downsides: no hookups or water to fill tanks. You have to get water at Burlingham campground, 10 minutes away.

Was disappointed when first pulled in since you don't have water view for most sites. The last mile plus in is really rough since you're driving on sand packed road. But once set up I enjoyed it cause it's a short distance to walk the beach. Beach is nice and quiet. Had group of musicians close by but loved their music and the campground staff enforced quiet hours. The sites are close but I've had much worse. I would stay again with low costs. No amenities but location makes up for it.
