CamperTown RV Park

Far out of the town limits but nevertheless quite and comfortable. Away from the hustle and bustle of city living.

This little no frills park is more than it looks like. As a traveling worker, I needed the no frills quiet and that is what I got. The laundromat was excellent. I really enjoyed my stay.

The camp accommodates both long-term and short-term guests, and my family and I have had the pleasure of staying here since May 2023. Our experience with the camp host has been exceptional; she is communicative and works tirelessly to maintain order. Guests have access to essential amenities such as laundry, bathrooms, and showers for RVs that lack these facilities. Over time, I've observed the campground expanding to accommodate more RVs, welcoming families and pets alike. The proximity to local shopping areas is convenient, with establishments like KJs, Family Dollar, a salon, Caesars Pizza, Chinese restaurants, and Domino's within reach. Our location allows for easy access between two Walmart stores, one 12 mins and the 18 minutes away in different directions. A short drive also brings you to a variety of restaurants, including Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Longhorn; Waffle House etc, as well as home improvement stores like Lowe's and Home Depot. The overall ambiance is serene, with open spaces for recreation and a noticeable emphasis on cleanliness, particularly among pet owners. Our grass is always cut nice and low. Most the time the camp is booked, so the dumpster comes twice a week to pick up.

There aren't a lot of campgrounds to choose from in Aiken, so if you must stay in town, this is probably your best choice. Some Aiken campgrounds are posh and very expensive while most are old and run down. CamperTown is sort of in the middle. There are quite a few really nice campsites here, especially in what appears to be a new section. However there is also a "slum" section. The spots are extremely close together and have trailers that ought to be condemned and removed for safety and security reasons. These trashed trailers give the whole place an air of unease. After driving through the campground, we decided to keep going. 1/2 an hour later we were in Augusta where we found a nice, reasonably priced park.

This place was fantastic! The folks were incredibly friendly. I stayed for a week without any hiccups or problems. I’d definitely recommend this RV Park to anyone searching for one. Thanks for the wonderful experience!
