What Guests Are Saying

Bussey Point Campground has undergone recovery efforts, resulting in more open sites despite the loss of many trees and a non-functional water pump. While some campers noted the absence of power, showers, and running water, the overall experience remained peaceful for those who brought their own supplies. The campground's beautiful location and helpful staff contributed positively to the stay, although noise from neighboring campers was a concern for some.

We love this camping area. Perfect area under the trees to shade from the sun. Spots right by the water are perfect and peaceful. We were able to put our pontoon in just around the corner and drive over to the campsites. So convenient! The area is very private if you have a large group and reserve sites 11-14. Being right on the water is my favorite thing about it. The trails are pretty decent and easy to ride on. Not rocky at all. Be careful of bees in the summer months bring something to keep ants away, we were all invaded. Nevertheless the weekend was awesome and we will definitely come back every year.
