Beautiful river access, the tiny home cabins are adorable and much bigger inside than I expected, and during the summer you can go tubing in the river. There's also a restaurant on the grounds but we didn't have a chance to try it unfortunately. We'll definitely be back though.

Great experience. We stayes in the River Birch and the home was lovely, comfortable, relaxing, well maintained. I took a couple of days with my granddaughters (12,10,3) and we made s’mores, dinner foil packets and great memories. We went river tubing (3-year old was not tall enough to go though). We ate at the Oxbow on Thursday evening where Fish and Chips are the special that day - Deeeeeeeeelicious. Highly recommend a stay here. I plan to come back.

Great overall experience, even on July 4th weekend. This was our first time floating since the old location and it was nice, easy and quick on the buses. The river was slow and the sun was shining! They have cooler floats and straps for larger groups. Would definitely recommend this summer!

The Saluda Outdoor Center is one of our favorite getaways, and this was our second time staying there. We absolutely love it. The tiny houses are cozy, clean, and thoughtfully designed, offering everything you need for a relaxing stay without any unnecessary frills. One of the best things about this place is that it’s dog-friendly—we’ve brought our pups both times, and they’ve had just as much fun as we have. The outdoor space is perfect for letting them explore while still being close by.

Being right next to the river is a huge bonus. Whether you’re looking to relax with a coffee and enjoy the view or get out and paddle, the setting is peaceful and beautiful. There’s a nice mix of privacy and community, with just enough distance between the tiny houses and easy access to walking trails and water activities. It’s the kind of place where you can unwind without feeling completely disconnected.

We’ve made some great memories here and already know we’ll be back again. If you’re looking for a quiet escape that welcomes dogs and puts you right by the water, the Saluda Outdoor Center is a perfect choice. Highly recommended!

I rented the only place in this group privately owned. Nate and Jessica posted pictures that made the place to be a retreat, not sucked up to 15 other people, one being a crashed bus. A tubing placed closed at time I went on the 23rd. A bath house. A bar. They had people eating then walking around sites. Was posted as secluded areas that were yours not people walking thru at all hours.
Minute one pulling I was immediately disappointed when I see I am in a fish camp. White trash area. Dog area it’s very unsafe trash, boards with nails sticking up.floor This place was not the secluded retreat advised. Nate and Jessica went and changed their write up on The River House and deleted pictures and changed when this place is located. I asked for 3 days back Nate and Jessica said No but my bank is going after all of it being it was fraud/ a scam with the before, after and pictures taken there helped me prove what I am saying. Their pictures don’t show person on right sucked up to you. Their ToDo board says nearest restaurant is 3.1 miles not in premises.
If you’re looking for a party with the neighbors or that you can walk from the bar kind of place this is for you. If you want quiet calm and to feel safe this is not for you. I have pictures but not allowing to post. Nate and Jessica did not care to fix it or that now that the center is into this by adding the name to cover their lies. I would have just let it all go no post if they just would have given my money back.
Nate and Jessica like to play games when trying to get my 655.00 back they wanted all of a sudden to ad pets fees that are not mentioned in ad. People just do rent The River House from Nate and Jessica Emery they are dishonest and rude.
