Nature Nook Retreats

We were absolutely blown away by this stay. From the moment we arrived, every detail had been thoughtfully prepared — firewood stacked, a starter kit ready, and even fishing poles waiting for my boys to head straight to the water. Within minutes they were casting lines and living their best little outdoorsman lives.

Our youngest was completely enchanted by the sheep and cows, and our host graciously allowed my son to help feed the animals — a moment he will never forget. Two of my boys dream of one day opening a cow camping farm of their own, and this experience truly inspired them.

The bathhouse was immaculate and beautifully designed, and the tents were charming, cozy, and perfectly equipped with everything we needed. This wasn’t just a getaway; it was a memory-making experience for our family.
Oh the sheep they like to announce, when anybody goes to the restroom, I think that was one my favourite parts.

We’ve already decided — this is officially our family retreat spot. Also my students are even in the talks of joining us.

I had a wonderful stay with my two grands, ages 12 and 15. The girls love animals and Highland cows so this was the perfect trip for us.
The tent was wonderful. The bed and cots were comfortable. Lots of cozy blankets were provided as well as a thoughtful welcome basket. Air and heat was available but the weather was perfect. The bathrooms and shower was clean and stocked with needed toiletries. Wood was provided for a fire. Fishing gear and kayaks were available for use in the pond.
We loved being able to pet the sheep, horses and cows any time we wanted. The immersive pasture experience was awesome. It was so fun getting to pet, feed and walk with the animals. The host educated us on the cows and answered all questions. You could tell she cared for her animals and her guests.
This is the perfect trip for enjoying nature and relaxing. I am looking forward to going back soon.

Our group stopped for an hour to get the pasture experience, and it was awesome! Amazing service, amazing experience, AMAZING COWS! On top of the cows being super friendly and running right up to you (or into you lol) The horses and sheep were also so very friendly and cute as can be. Be prepared to get a little mud and slobber on your shirt and jeans, and it will be a wonderful time! 11/10 would go again, and again, and again!

I wish I could leave more stars. We had a magical stay at WyldStay. The host was amazing, knowledgeable, and attentive. The tents were spacious and very comfortable. We enjoyed being greeted by sweet baby Pewter and his sheep friends and later learning all about the highland cows during the pasture experience. As Greenville area locals, this was a perfect overnight "staycation" - a relaxing glamping experience right here in Greenville County!

Such an incredible experience- glamping at its finest! The area is very serene. Offers a pond to kayak or SUP in. Another little pond with dock to dip in. Pastures upon pastures of highland cows, horses and sheep. Tent had air conditioning, a bed and two cots. (The cots were surprisingly very comfortable!) fire pit on deck, two lanterns in the tent, shared bathrooms with a full bath. Shower had great water pressure and temp. Catherine, the founder and owner was beyond accommodating. She was very personable and attentive to our needs before, during and after the stay. This was an adventure that won’t be forgotten.
