Great little campground. Power pedestals seem to be wired correctly, the sites are flat and easy to get in and out of and there's a pretty good amount of trees for shade with BBQ grills available. People are friendly and helpful with Around the clock security seen frequently. The bath house and laundry was clean and everything functional. It is quiet at night except for the occasional train whistle. There are convenience stores nearby open 24 hours.

This campground is big and clean ( well maintained ),not much to do since some places been shut down for some years, but it's like a Ghost Town. Please don't get me wrong, but if you are in need of peace and quiet this is the place for you ( wife and I got the rest we needed ) . This campground is safe for anyone. This town was once a tourist attraction, and it's still is ( it's still like a Ghost Town ). Wife and I stayed for 2 days, it was supposed to be a 1 night stay. Wish we could stay just a little bit longer, but our home town is calling us. THANK YOU CAMP PEDRO for your professional service and allowing us to stay with you. We'll see you in the near future.

Nice RV park just off I-95 and 301. Park has large paved sites. Far enough off the interstate that noise is muted. Lots of stuff for kids, and was a famous tourist destination. Restaurants and shops are on the complex. Laundry and bath house also available.. Gas and diesel available at their Sunoco station on site.

Once I entered the campground and began to follow the map provided it became very clear the lot numbers were inaccurately marked. My sewer hose line was laying directly on top of a massive ant hill beside the sewer cap. In addition to this I had the unfortunate experience of leaving my surge protector at the box. I tried calling the office and found it was very difficult to get someone. They finally had someone go out and check. I had to call back several times. I was told the surge protector was not there. I did not feel like this was the safest campground from the moment I parked. The chain linked fencing surrounding the campground is a deterrent. I'm just not convinced of its effectiveness. I would have been better off staying in the service area.

Great little fenced in campground. A little on the expensive side $50 for a basic site with shore power. I usually camp at recreation.gov sites where I get half off. Thats why it’s expensive to me in particular. Others may find the price reasonable. But the restrooms/showers were extremely clean. There was what looked like security patrolling the grounds. Despite being near the road, it was the quietest campground I’ve ever stayed at. Including my camping neighbors, could hear a pin drop. Close by gas/ store. I would stay here again if I had extra money but the location is the only reason I picked it. Was visiting a friend in North Carolina and didn’t want to camp in that state.
