The sites are super spacious, the location is amazing. I hope you don't mess it up when you remodel later this year!

This campground is a Diamond for people who love the peace and quite along with the beautiful nature surrounding the area. We spent eleven days this month and enjoyed it so much we booked two weeks in June. From my research the place is about to undergo a major upgrade starting June 26, and will take well over a year to complete. During this time the campground will completely shut down. My fear is it will be forever changed. and change is not always good. Thinking less nature and more people! I do hope they will make the RV sites full hock-ups. The bathrooms/showers are in bad need of updating as are the electric hookups. This campground is on the intercostal waterway, so the mosquitoes, horseflies, yellow flies and noseeums scants/gnats or whatever you want to call the dam things can be unbearable at times. Luckily we brought some Cutters Backyard Bug Control, the one you hook to your water hose! we sprayed around both of the site we stayed at and were not bothered at all while everyone around us were struggling to enjoy the outdoors. This stuff should be a requirement!!!! Dave the new host was awesome. He arrived the same day as us. We watched him putting 100% in daily cleaning the place up and managing/hosting the campers. An all-round great guy!
Looking forward to our two weeks in June!

The park was very nice, pretty and roomy. Mosquitoes were really thick. We got some mosquito repellent, without Deet, and it worked well.

Great campground. Very quiet. Planned renovation will make the campground even better. Camp host was most helpful.

Fishing was great, environment was good. Plenty of space between campsites. But the bath house was less to be desired. Awful.

We're going to miss Buck Hall during the renovation. The campground is amazing but definitely can stand the planned upgrades and renovation.
