It’s peaceful it’s nice sunrise sunset beautiful there’s plenty of space between you and your neighbor. I like it. I recommend it. I do recommend this place. I’ve told most of my friends it stays full so it’s a little difficult to get a space there but if you do, you’ll enjoy it.

Great little campground. Nice view of the water. Able to view dolphins and alligators in the morning out in the water.
Very level tent camping. Stone and concrete picnic tables.

I come to Buck Hall several times a year. Great place to camp, fish and make friends. This is one of the National Forests gems!

Rather small, quiet campground on the intercoastal waterway. Boat launch next to the CG. Waterfront sites are tents only. RV sites had electric and water, plenty of space and shade along the outside of the loop. Wonderful to look out our windows to the forest but because of that proximity, expect a lot of horse flies and deer flies. Did not see the camp host in the four days we were there. Restrooms were in terrible condition, so I'm glad we didn't need to rely on that resource. 14 miles to all the variety of shopping in Mt Pleasant.

Buck hall is a wonderful place to camp. There are only a few cites but they are very large sites and well maintained. The camp host could have done a better job keeping the rest room and showers a little cleaner and they definitely need to be updated but the camp cites are great. Beautiful scenery.

Excellent location next to intercoastal waterway. Right in the middle of what was the economic hub of our country in its early years. Close to Georgetown, Charleston and McClellanville there is plenty to keep you active. You’re also at in the heart of Cape Romain National Wildlife Refuge. Consider visiting the Center for Birds of Prey Avian Conservation Center while in the area. If you love nature history or outdoor water activities you’ll be right at home camping here. So much to do and enjoy in this beautiful area.
