Beautiful campsites and location. Good campground hosts. Older and neglected bathrooms and shower. Would be nice if refurbished.

My experience was overall very good. The campsite was clean and beautiful. The bathrooms were clean and worked. The only problem I had was it was unclear which faucets had potable water.

Awesome place to camp.we hiked the awendaw trail. The awendaw trail is the first 7miles of the palmetto trail. Bring a product called "no-nats" regular mosquito spray isn't very effective against coastal sand nats. If you plan on fishing you'll need salt water lisense.
