This was our first time at Apache and everything was flawless. From setting up camper to walking to pier, beach and pool. We camped at spot 188 and will definitely be returning. Nice staff I dealt with and quiet at night - again, we鈥檙e already planning our next trip there.

The grounds are beautiful. The office staff are so friendly. The maintenence staff are highly skilled and willing to go above and beyond. I had a situation with a trailer I was pulling behind my motorcycle. I kept looking up mechanics and auto repair shops on Google maps only to end up driving around for an hour to locations that don't exist (get it together Google!) Anyhoo, I happened to pass by Apache and thought maybe they could point me in the right direction. Even though I hadn't been a guest at their campground, they stepped up to help me. I was very touched by their sense of community. As for the facilities, I was very impressed when I walked into the main office. It was beautiful, very clean, and well organized. There were four ladies at the front eager to help their guests with a smile. This place appears very popular. The lots were full and the campers were impressive! I suspect there may be a waiting list to get in here. Y'all if you're looking for a premium campground in one of the most popular beach vacation spots on the east coast, Myrtle Beach, well look no further!! I promise you Apache is the place to be. You and your family will enjoy ultimate relaxation knowing that the grounds are built and maintained by the best folks in the business! Enjoy!!

This was our first year staying here, and unfortunately we were pretty disappointed. The campsites are way too close together, leaving very little privacy or personal space. It felt crowded the entire time, and we were much closer to our neighbors than we expected. Literally we have rearrange vehicles for strangers to hook up and leave 馃槼馃槼 and yes we only have vehicle here and so does the other people.
We had been looking forward to trying somewhere new, but after this experience, I think we鈥檒l be heading back to Ocean Lakes Family Campground for future trips. It just offers the space and overall camping experience we prefer.
Hopefully this feedback helps others when deciding if this campground is the right fit for them.

My husband grew up here about 20 years back and we came for a day visit to look around. The staff were friendly and gave us a temporary pass to enter and walk around. I loved looking at all the houses and walking to the beach. Very pretty place and I'd love to stay here some day.

We camped in the purple area. We had a concrete pad, very small 5x7 shelter. The ladies at front desk are super friendly and helpful when we had a family emergency and had to leave early. There is a security guard that checks vehicles as they enter but there is a public restaurant on site which is VERY good. Large laundromat, general store, arcade area for children, and bingo etc during the week. Permanent sites are very close together but are well maintained as they must follow their our guidelines. Golf carts are allowed for a fee. The pier has live music during the summer.
