The host was super helpful, courteous, and informative. He was able to call for assistance with the hot water and running toilet. maintenance came out quickly to resolve the problems. The maintenance man and park ranger were also very friendly, kind and understanding. The facilities were extremely clean as well - not a spider or cob web to be found. The web site is easy to use also.

The Corp really need to fix the hot water in the bath house...there is none! Also many pens are in disrepair and need replaced. Pack a roll of duct tape to patch sharp edges. It was nice to see the entrance to the circle of horse sites widened and improved. Bigger rigs can now make that turn without running into the ditch.

Beautiful place. Very peaceful. To make it even better would be to have all 4 showers working and with some better spray than the one trickle

One of my favorite places to ride. Anything was great. My only recommendation is to get showers operating. 1/3 were operational and it was very low water pressure and cold.

Site 1 does not have horse stalls so I had to rent another site for my animals

Very nice quite park. Had the tent area to ourselves for the weekend. Tent area has a nice view of the lake, but it does get very windy with wind coming off the lake. Area slopes down to the waters edge with a nice stretch of sandy beach.

Lovely Camp, lovely trails and a very hospitable host. Loved
Useful Information: It seemed to me that the water had a chlorine smell and my horse would not drink it. Bring water from home or get your horse accustomed to it. Also, bring a little wagon to carry hay/water; the pens are some distance away from the camp sites.
