Sunny days Campground is highly recommended by us. The owners (Dylan & Logan) were very personable and sweet!! For being open only 8 months, these 2 young men have it together, the Campground is very clean and maintained, the sites are spacious, there are games for adults and kids set up in the shade at all times, a very nice playground for smaller kids. Walking trails, beautiful pond. Quiet and relaxing, so if your a local or just passing through like we was, it is a perfect place to visit.
Pete and I definitely will go back when we are in Santee.
Dylan and Logan, thank you for the memories.

What’s not to like about a brand new RV park? We especially enjoyed the lovely grounds and hiking trail that had a peaceful fishing pond and fountain at one end. We had the only pull through spot which was plenty roomy. There was a nice pavilion with a hammock nearby, a chair swing, some outdoor games, a little library and a playground. It is well located, about ten minutes from I-95. We explored Congaree National Park from here which was about a 40 minute drive. Dylan checked us in and led us to our spot and could not have been friendlier. There currently is no bath house or laundry but they are in the process of building a bath house; not sure about laundry. We would definitely stay here again if on our travel route.

This was our first time camping at Sunny Days, and we really enjoyed it! We arrived Friday evening (10/24) after dark, and anyone who’s pulled into a new campground at night knows it can be a little tricky. The staff was hanging out with guests watching a movie under the pavilion, noticed us looking a bit lost (we’d already looped around once), and immediately came over to help us find our site. That small gesture made a great first impression.

We stayed on site #21 - plenty of space! I love that each site has a rock pad for your camper and a separate one for your vehicle. The walking trails were peaceful, and the pond added a nice touch. In the middle of the campground, there’s a cozy community area with a big fire pit, swings, hammocks, yard games, a little book box, and more. You can tell they really thought about the guest experience.

They’ve already broken ground for a bathhouse and laundry facility, which will be a great addition. The campground was nearly full, with just a few open spots, so I can easily see this place becoming super popular soon.

We’ll definitely be back!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay there very much. It was quiet and peaceful and the our spot had plenty of room to enjoy. It is a new place that is still developing and will be a very nice place to stay. They have just broke ground on the bath and laundry house coming soon. My wife and I will definitely make this a frequent stop for a quick weekend getaway.
