Stayed at the campground for 6 months while working. From beginning to end was a great experience! Children and animal friendly campground with great owners that have big plans for this place! Full hookup sites and a bath house we free washers and dryers.

Finding a simple, nice campground to stay at with an RV or trailer always seems like it should be easy-but when you start searching for a spot in a new area you quickly discover it isn’t. Reviews are terrible, photos are fake, or the area looks like garbage. Oh, and good luck contacting some of these places, if they don’t pick up (which is often) they almost never call back. This makes it real tough to book a spot for a few nights while you’re on the road and driving to a new destination.
Finding Flowertown Glampground was a pleasant surprise however. Calling the number listed, I head only a few “rings” before a friendly voice answered. I explained that I was looking for a spot for a travel trailer for a few nights and although it was last minute they were able to squeeze us in.
Finding the campground (err, Glampground haha) was very easy and close off the main highway. Distance from the highway is only a few miles however, so you aren’t next to big rigs all night long. Pulling in displayed a thoughtfully laid out camp with decent space between spots. Our fist thought was “wow, this is amazing” because the previous few nights we had been at some parks that you’d want to only use for a quick over night place to park, not to actually hang out and relax.
The campground was fantastic. The owner/manager on site was helpful in answering questions and very friendly. The kids and dog had an absolute blast walking around and exploring, and after reading reviews of others that stayed for longer time periods, I can absolutely see why this is the place to be when looking for a campground. We have family moving into the area, and I know without a doubt that Flowertown Glampground will be the spot we book for future visits.
This location is just about perfect, it’s far enough from the busy areas, but close enough where heading “into town” isn’t a burden (and very easy to get to after a long day on the highway). My only complaint is that we won’t be staying longer to relax, but I know when coming though the area we will be happy to call Flowertown Glampground “home” for future camping!

What a beautiful place! The owners are fantastic and their love for and vision of what they want the campground to be shows.
Their bathhouse (a repurposed conex box!) is top notch; complete with rainshower heads and stacked washers and dryers.
The dog park is phenomenal (something you can't say about many rv parks); shade and grass, water and a TON of room to run around! (We have labs, so a tiny area doesn't cut it- they LOVED this dog park).
Chickens pecking around and turkeys making their turkey noises are an added bonus!
If you're looking to unwind and reset, Flowertown Glampground should be at the top of your list!

This campground is like no other my family and I have stayed at! We have camped for several years up and down the east coast and this glampground is like no other. For our first time ever as a long term camper this community has welcomed my children, wife, fur child and myself with open arms and all around love. An absolute blessing to be a part of this growing community and very excited to watch it grow!

Absolutely beautiful grounds and the owners are great! Great place to stay. There are the cutest chickens to see and you can even get fresh eggs! Highly recommend bringing your RV or camper to stay here. It's a convenient drive to Downtown Charleston, but is so peaceful at the campground that's set back in the country!
