Nice campground with spacious sites. Bathhouses worked well. The campground map is lacking in detail. We booked a site we thought was waterfront and it was not. A move to an open waterfront was available, but you have to do that online. The front gate staff was able to move us after about 30 min's of confusing discussion. They were not very computer literate or able to multiplex. It did work out and our stay was great in a east facing site. The west side looked hot, but had better swimming from shore. Downtown Clemson is close and the Botanical gardens were nice. We stayed there in a 21 ft travel trailer

Pros :
Great campsite 56 view of lake was excellent
Private than most trees all around
Had a tent… large area for it
Fishing down at the waters edge
Caught late night catfish ( one water snake did come visit us )
Bathroom behind site
Cons:
Bathroom was unbelievably hot sauna hot
Clean for the most part
Wear shower shoes
Fire pit next to concrete picnic table
Poison ivy everywhere stay on path to lake
Found ALOT of fishing hooks around tent area
Dog poop left from previous camper in a corner where we set up tent ( husband had to figure out how to dispose of had no shovel)
Smelled a skunk while out be campfire Hummmmm ??????
Older women at check out was sort of rude
However the older man at check in made up for that. He was extremely helpful and pleasant.

We love the campsites near the swimming area. Bathrooms were dirty the whole week. The floors were never cleaned. We’ve been coming to Coneross for two years and this summer has been much worse for bathroom cleanliness.

We always have a good time. Went whitewater rafting down the Chattooga river. There are several outfitters. Going to do some trout fishing in Chattooga and Chauga rivers next time. We also went Jazz on the Alley in Seneca. They close off Ram Cat Alley on Thursday. Restaurants all set up in the street. Great food, beverages and live music.

We had a nice quiet stay at Coneross park. We were on site 36. It is a level site with a good sized living area. There is a playground and bathhouse close by. The only downside is that it is not close to the water. If we couldn’t get closer to the water, I would use site 36 again.

Humid! Plus the water level was so low, it looked stagnant so we didn't go in. But the campground is nice and its close to town.

General
- One wheeled camping unit (RV, Camper, Camper van/truck, etc) per single site and must be parked on impact pad. Tents are restricted to impact pad.
- Off-road vehicles including golf carts, 4-wheelers, motorized or electric scooters/ride on devices are not permitted.
- Only registered vehicles are allowed in the campground. Up to 3 vehicles may be registered per site. All vehicles and boats trailers must be parked on gravel area of campsite or in designated parking spaces.
- Alcoholic beverages are prohibited.
- Maximum stay is 14-days within 30 day period. Changing names on a reservation, changing campsites, or making multiple reservations in order to stay over 14-days is PROHIBITED! VIOLATORS MAY HAVE RESERVATIONS CANCELLED WITHOUT NOTICE. Please do the right thing.
- All pets must be penned, caged or on a leash no longer than 6 feet; pets are prohibited on swim beaches, playgrounds, and in restrooms. You MUST clean up after your pet!
- Fireworks and firearms are prohibited.
- Maximum of 10 campers per single site. Registered campers are required to occupy campsite and must be 18 years of age or older.
- Gray water (any wastewater from sinks, dishwashing, bathing, etc) or other waste water must be disposed of properly at campground dump station.
- For campfires, use only dead wood gathered from the ground and contain fire in designated fire rings or grills only. Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. Visit Don't movefirewood.org for further information.
- Keep your campsite and campground clean. Keep your trash contained and frequently remove trash from campsite (dumpsters located within campground). Do not leave litter in fire ring or on campsite upon check out.
- Inflatables including water slides, jumping houses, etc. and/or carnival type rides/events are not permitted.
