This is one of the most exceptionally well-organized, fully equipped for multiple types of camping, and accessible campgrounds I’ve ever experienced. It’s minutes from so many outdoor, family, food amenities. And an hour from Greenville. Cannot recommend highly enough!!

We had an amazing stay here. The campground is incredibly clean and thoughtfully designed, with a layout that gives each camper plenty of personal space (which is rare and very appreciated).

There’s a beautiful bird viewing area, peaceful trails, and a creek that really adds to the relaxing, nature-focused experience. The bath house is spotless and well maintained, and the dog park along with the shared fire pit area makes it easy to unwind and connect.

The location is perfect—close to multiple waterfalls and surrounded by so many great spots to explore. Brasstown falls is perfect for a first venture.

Dogs are genuinely welcome here—ours had the best time.

You can tell the owner truly cares about creating a peaceful, well-kept place for guests, and it shows in every detail. Highly recommend—we’ll definitely be back.

Camp Tails and Trails is a wonderful place, and Debbie, the property manager, does an outstanding job. She was very informative, communicative, and made everything easy from start to finish.

The property itself is very nice, well cared for, and you can tell a lot of attention goes into maintaining the amenities and grounds. Debbie clearly takes great pride in keeping everything in tip-top shape, and it shows. There is a lot of love put into the property, which makes the experience even better.

Another great plus is the location. Camp Tails and Trails is centrally located near all the major lakes, making it a convenient and enjoyable place to stay. Highly recommend!

We wanted to take our new camper out for a spin, that was close to home, before our first big trip. Decided on Camp Tails and Trails. We booked 1 night. Very quickly we received an email from the owner Debbie. She stayed in contact with us sent all the information we needed the day of. When we got there she came and greeted us. The camp area was spotless. Nested in the trees and so quite from traffic. You do not have to worry about the sides or roof of your trailer though. Very homey feeling. We have 50 amp hook up, zero problems with power , sewer or water. Debbie came out and started campfires that evening. There are dog kennels set up at each campsite, that was great because we were able to put dogs out with plenty of room in there while we set up and tore down. She has a huge dog run set up in the trees for the dogs to run, sniff and enjoy themselves. The bath house is very clean. Debbie has 2 walking trails set up for campers too. She goes around to each campsite and picks up the trash as well. We enjoyed our stay so much we stayed another night. She has 2 campers there all set up for those that want to get away but don't have campers to do so. We highly recommend this little gem we found. Thank you Debbie for all the pride and your hard work you put into this rv campground and being a fantastic owner/host. We really enjoyed our stay!!

We just completed a 4-day stay at Camp Tail and Trails. This was our best camping experience ever. The Owner and Hostess, Debbie, lives on site. She is very friendly and responsive to any questions or concerns. She actually anticipates any potential needs. Her love of dogs is readily apparent and has a great fenced dog park. She has cut her own trails, with one trail down to a peaceful creek. There is a natural park-like area in the middle of the campground with lights, 2 campfire rings and seating. Just a wonderful getaway with hiking trails in close proximity. I highly recommend this Campground. We will be returning in October.
