Woods Ferry Campground offers a pleasant and spacious camping experience with well-maintained sites, clean bathrooms, and beautiful natural surroundings. Many visitors appreciate the privacy between sites, access to hiking trails, and opportunities for fishing and wildlife viewing. While some have noted issues like noise from generators and occasional maintenance concerns, the overall sentiment is positive, with many eager to return.

Great primitive camping. Sites are not on top of each other so you fee like you have some privacy. The vault toilets were clean. Had really nice pipe corrals to keep the horses in. The trails are beautiful and the picnic area is right along side a river under shady trees. Great place to bring your horse and ride 25 mi of trails.

Camps for horse riders should be separate from the hikers and hunters, as the horses and smells and noises are in close proximity to the other campers that don't ride horses.
We had to leave our campsite to find quiet and get away from the smells that winds carried over from the horse stalls across from us. It was an overnight stay, but we left early.
