Great mid winter visit. Smaller campground, but still very nice. Great and friendly staff. Level sites, dirt/ gravel. But not an issue.
A bit of a drive for many things like food and such. Half hour but in Beaufort there is alot of things to do. Alot of wildlife here, very quiet. They do have some activities here and a nice rec center nice seating and a big tv. Also a pool table
The convenience is that it is very close to I95. We would definitely come again.

We stopped here on our way down to Florida so it was just one night. This was our first time here so we didn't know what to expect. We loved it. It was so quiet, setup was so easy because the sights were pretty level. We only talked to the staff through text but everything was clear and the stay info was right where the said it was. Also, we loved the dog park. I am hoping we get to stay longer for our next stay.

So, kind of a mixed review. Let's do pro and con list.
Pros; great staff, pool, lake, trails, mini golf, quiet, nice clubhouse, fun activities and game nights, clean washrooms and laundry, decent location and great communications from the park (best we've ever seen).
Cons; water runoff is slow, stays muddy, space was too narrow (site #8) and we could not put out awning, hook-ups were oddly placed in some sites (site #9 they're 3 feet from the front road). We had a few neighbors during our stay but they weren't happy except the camper van whose hook-ups were right behind his doorway.
As you can see, far more pros than cons and we will definitely be back. Walk you site before you try to setup and talk to staff. They are super helpful within their means to address issues.

This camp ground was very nice. some of the sites are a little tight but they are level. All gravel, 30/50 amps with sewer.
The hosts at the campground are the best, they let everyone know which activities were happening each night, super friendly and helpful. The laundry room was small but clean and In working order. Bath house was very clean. We will stay here again. The communication from these guys was unmatched compared to every other place we have stayed.

What a wonderful little hidden gem. If you like peaceful relaxing camping, then this is the place for you. Activities every night. More of a place for adults since there is no playground, but a nice place for kids to enjoy nature. Seen alligators and armadillos. Places to eat at fuel right there and its only a little bit of travel to get to plenty of wonderful places. Beth and Greg were so awesome to meet and talk to. So warm and welcoming.
