American Creek Campground

Tent camped there on 6/14/2025. Great people & extremely friendly! Clean facilities & great peaceful place for the tent, right next to the water. Easy walk for a swim.

Beautiful campsite right on the lake!! Staff is very friendly :) loved the fresh popcorn on arrival! Very pretty site. Glad we stayed here!

No room was used, but I think cabins are avaliable. A little pricey, but very nice. Staff is very accommodating. Bathhouse was clean, convenient, and well maintained. Sites were pretty level and easily accessible, although a little close together. A nice overnight stop in a travel trailer.

Great price, friendly staff, clean campground, level tent sites, very clean and well-maintained shower houses. Phenomenal location immediately off 90. Easy reservation process. Will remain my go-to campground on my regular road trips across the US for college.

Nice campground near the river with beautiful views and water access (swimming, fishing, recreation). Nice grassy sites with concrete pads and small trees. A little ways into town from the Interstate but enjoyed the quiet at night and proximity to Main Street/in-town businesses. Our spot was a little short for our camper and very tight to back into (basically had to curve into the neighboring ditch). But overall nice place and we enjoyed our stay. Our daughter loved the playground and swimming beach.
