Piney River Resort

We have been on our 2nd camping trip here and the staff and the campground are amazing! The family made so many memories from splashing in the pool, fishing, playing basketball , to
Corn hole to just living their best lives. We will def recommend! If you want clean and amazing staff and not have to worry and relax this is the place to be.

While working in the area we stayed at Piney River Resort for a year and absolutely loved it! The staff is great, amenities are top-notch—especially the pool—and the concrete pads are excellent. The Piney River is perfect for coolin' off and catching crawdads. The vibe is family-friendly and plenty of smiles to go round! Big thanks to manager Mitch for always being helpful, especially through the ICE STORM of '26!

We absolutely love this place. It is calm, peaceful, lovely! We stayed at the glamping tent, which was perfect! Nice & clean & cool. Super comfy beds & everything you need for a pleasant stay. We only have one complaint. The pool is always closed :-( This is our second year here. Everyday they close the pool for maintenance. You would think they would do all the testing after close or before opening. Not midday. Really puts a damper on the getaway when you plan pool time, but cant use it. The pool is beautiful and very nicely set up. This is the # 1 reason we choose this resort. Ive never been on a vacation that they continually close the pool during peak times. If they re adjust their pool cleaning schedule, this place would be a 5 star top rated vacation.

Very enjoyable stay. Will be back. Manager and staff were very welcoming and friendly. Fresh made to order pizza on store was a treat after the long drive. I have a 40 ft fifth wheel and the manager did say it's a little bit tricky going a certain direction coming out west of the campsite but I have no problem at all going over the bridge there are two 90° turns and a bridge in the middle. I have no problem with it at all, as long as there are no other cars, which there is almost never any cars, then it's very easily maneuverable, but I did have to wait for one car to drive by before I did it.

Great customer service. Jenny was very patient with me on the as I made many phone calls prior to my arrival. I truly appreciate your patience and understanding. The maintenance team is awesome. They really keep the properties that can really clean and nice. Overall, a great experience for our family would definitely recommend other others to visit. The play area they have for the kids is very well kept. My kids loved it! We hope to visit one day again.
