Defeated Creek Park is a beautiful and well-maintained campground, appreciated for its stunning views, friendly hosts, and ample outdoor activities, including biking, hiking, and water sports. Many visitors enjoyed their stay, highlighting the spacious, shaded sites and the park's family-friendly atmosphere. However, the park lacks reliable cell service and WiFi, which some guests found inconvenient, and there are occasional cleanliness issues that management is encouraged to address.

The view was amazing, but when we found Defeated Creek when looking for a new place to go camping for our 2 year wedding anniversary no where in the reviews did anyone mention the skunk problem. We had to keep running them off from our camp site as were others. We ended up cutting our visit short and left the next day due to the skunk issue.

Only negative was trash cans at beach were overflowing at one point and all over the ground.

We always love defeated.
Only thing that worries me a little is there is several skunks . Had them in our campsite several times. Never smelt like they had sprayed though.

This place is always our “go to” but unfortunately it apparently is that for a lot of campers. It’s always well maintained & the hosts are very kind & helpful. This last time, I mistakenly reserved a 30 amp site instead of a 50. The host went out of his way to help us find another spot, whic( was not available. He loaned us a 30 amp converter and we made it work. Thank you! We brought along one of our great grandsons, 12 yo. He had the best time riding his new e-bike on the bike trail. A really good trip. (Except for the heat. Lol). The Jones family.

Great people staying at the facility as well as people working there. I’ll be returning this coming weekend as a matter of fact.
