Everything feels organized and cared for, which makes the stay even more comfortable. I highly recommend this campsite to anyone looking for a clean, calm, and beautiful outdoor experience.

We were on Site 51 in our 5th Wheel. The site is almost perfectly level from left to right and did not require much lift in the front to make it level front to back. The view is nice across an open field and there really isn't anyone very close to you. There is nice shade in the morning and then it returns late afternoon. The site is large and easy to back into. It is perfectly positioned between two bath houses. We had decent wifi reception on computers, phones and even our tv. Cell phone reception for calls was sketchy but if you can activate wifi calling, you get good reception.
This is a 30 amp site. I didn't realize that and so didn't have my "dog bone" with me. I couldn't find one to buy in a 30 mi radius. I was talking to Buck at the check-in hut and seeing if there was a spot we could move to. He offered to lend me a dog bone. They are so nice! It was a great experience overall. We have 3 more reservations at Defeated Creek this year. It's our favorite park!

Campground was nice & clean. Absolutely no internet or cell service. Have to drive quite a ways out of the area in order to access Google Maps for directions to next destination.

Corp of Engineer sites are always spot-on: level site, water, electric, sewer hook-up is always perfect. Facilities are well designed and maintained. Most of them are on the water and overall a great bargain.
