Defeated Creek Park is a beautiful and well-maintained campground, appreciated for its stunning views, friendly hosts, and ample outdoor activities, including biking, hiking, and water sports. Many visitors enjoyed their stay, highlighting the spacious, shaded sites and the park's family-friendly atmosphere. Camp host and grounds personnel were great. Facilities were extremely clean and well stocked. We stayed one extra night at site 77 the sites across from us had four large dogs that barked continuously was the only bad thing in our five days there.

A family favorite as we've camped here many times over the years. We don't have a fancy RV so we rely on the bathhouses, they are hit & miss on how usable they are. Some of them are push button showers which aren't fun. There are some that are better though.
Lots of deer, bike trail, swimming, beach. Great place!

We had a very nice time. There was one man in a van that seemed to be interested in the young girls in our group, but we monitored him a lot, and kept our children in groups. We realize this is the times we live in, so nothing against Defeated Creek, just wanted you to be aware. The bathrooms are the only thing that I think needs updating. The park itself is beautiful and peaceful. We will definitely be camping there again!

Very clean campground, easy access to restrooms/showers/playgrounds. Hookups were in good condition and simple to use, we had a great time!!

This is our favorite local park for a quick getaway. The park is very laid back with lots of trees and sites all along the lake shore. There are several well located bath houses which are clean but rustic as the park is older. There are lots of sites to choose from but full hookup sewer lots are limited so reservations need to be made well in advance as soon as the window opens up - especially if you want a lake side or lake view lot. There is a playground and a lake swimming area as well as a boat launch but that is all of the "activity" opportunities. We go for relaxation and walking or bike riding as there are a good amount of paved roads with lots of shade. A good park to go to for a time-out from busy lives.
