This is a beautiful campground and very close to the lake. Our weather was VERY HOT so we could only ride our bikes or walk early or late. As noted in the web description, the internet is very sketchy and one bath house was best but in the heat, it was super hard to stand outside, even in the shade, for long. The grounds are well maintained and it was quiet as well. We loved going here and will be going back.

We just stayed at Site 95 for an extended weekend trip. Defeated Creek is one of my favorite campgrounds to visit, and we really enjoyed this site.
There are several trees that provide great shade and covered a good portion of our camper, which really helped keep things cool during a very hot weekend. I’m also a Starlink user and was able to set up the satellite in an open area to the left of the camper with no obstructions. It was really the best of both worlds with plenty of shade for the camper and enough open sky for Starlink.
I also wanted to clarify something mentioned in another review. Site 95 does have sewer hookups. We were connected to sewer for our entire stay and had no issues.
Overall, this was a great site and one we would definitely stay at again!

Campsites are big, bathrooms are clean, and the people working at the check-in are so nice!
