We just stayed at Site 95 for an extended weekend trip. Defeated Creek is one of my favorite campgrounds to visit, and we really enjoyed this site.
There are several trees that provide great shade and covered a good portion of our camper, which really helped keep things cool during a very hot weekend. I’m also a Starlink user and was able to set up the satellite in an open area to the left of the camper with no obstructions. It was really the best of both worlds with plenty of shade for the camper and enough open sky for Starlink.
I also wanted to clarify something mentioned in another review. Site 95 does have sewer hookups. We were connected to sewer for our entire stay and had no issues.
Overall, this was a great site and one we would definitely stay at again!

Campsites are big, bathrooms are clean, and the people working at the check-in are so nice!

Such a gorgeous park and facility! Always clean and well maintained. I love that it is so dog friendly, with plenty of pull thru sites and beautiful lake-side spots. I have stayed here dozens of times en route to competitive dog events, and it never disappoints.

The park is one of the most beautiful campgrounds that we have visited. Camp hosts Rhonda and her daughter Jennifer go out of their way to keep the camp sites clean and they also notified us of bad weather that passed through the park. The nearby picnic area and large sandy beach is great for family meetings. There are several playgrounds in the campground as well as a beach for swimming. There is also a pickleball court in the area. This is a rural area so we always try to bring everything we need. There is a Walmart about ten miles from the campground. The campground is located in between Cookeville and Nashville, Tennessee. Great place fish, swim and just enjoy the great outdoors in the great state of Tennessee!

Super hot and zero shade... also I think the website has the wrong picture for 99. Poor TV and cell reception.
