Postcard Cabins Dale Hollow

My experiences at the cabins have been great. Great getaway for a night during each of my stays. Outdoor seating with a fire pit and a table to hangout. I have gone during warmer and colder climates. I prefer the warmer time of the year. The cabin is highly equipped to keep you warm. It is a cozy space for up to 2 people. All of the accommodations are fitting for the adventure. If you are interested in hiking there is a trail about 20 mins away.

I booked the cabin for a surprise birthday celebration for my girlfriend, and the staff went above and beyond to help with the decorations. They were extremely cooperative and supportive throughout, I truly appreciate their efforts. I’d definitely recommend this place if you’re looking to spend some peaceful, quality time with your loved one.

We decided to take a weekend getaway to Dale Hollow Postcard Cabins (just a 2-hour drive from home), and it was such a fun and relaxing trip. The cabin was the perfect size for a couple and a pup or two. The bathroom was spacious, all things considered, and super clean with great water pressure.

The highlight of the cabin is definitely the large window with a gorgeous view of the private woods; it made the space feel so peaceful and open. We stayed Friday through Sunday, explored the nearby nature trails, and built a fire each night to unwind and cook dinner.

One of the things we enjoyed most was the lack of internet/phone service. It really gave us a chance to unplug and spend quality time together. The little touches like complimentary boxed water, hot chocolate, snacks, and dog treats were greatly appreciated.

Overall, a beautiful and quiet retreat. We’ll definitely do this again.

The cabins were wonderful. The lay out was nice. Enjoyed the time with my wife with no interruptions. The only issue was the chairs out side wasn’t clean and had spiders eggs underneath the arm. The wood was damp and I wasn’t able to light a fire for a hours. Had to use the paper towels in order to started the fire. I called but the call went to another state so no assistance used the number on the card in the cabin. And maybe an outlet outside for a fan and mosquito spray around the outside of at fir pit and no music at all outside the cabin. Besides that it was a good out come and me and my wife will do it again.

Review would be 5 stars instead of 3 it wasn't for the sheer amount of ticks. I get we're in nature and there was a high probability of dealing with them, but this location was infested. On our 2 night stay, between myself, wife and dogs we pulled 30+ ticks off of ourselves. For a "dog friendly" place there has to be a better way to control them, especially in the communal area.
