The Road Less Traveled RV Park

We booked a Friday to Monday stay. Upon arrival, our site lacked a sewer connection, which may have been my mistake. Management kindly allowed us to move to a full hookup site. However, the sewer line threads on the new site were damaged, resulting in an unsealed connection and a noticeable odor. Privacy was a major issue. Our site was directly in front of the host's home with no barrier. I felt very uncomfortable cooking dinner while they sat on their porch looking directly at us. Some small shrubs between the properties would easily fix this. They also had small dogs in a fenced area that barked consistently while I tried to cook. Additionally, the campground sits right on Highway 411 with no sound buffer, leading to 24-hour traffic noise. The property would benefit greatly from landscaping to serve as a privacy and sound barrier between the road and campsites. On the positive side, the grounds and bathhouse were clean and tidy (though I didn't use the showers or laundry). There is a simple playground and a small dog park. If you just need a clean place to drop your camper and head out for the day, it works fine. We chose it to ride the train out of Delano, which was convenient. Just plan accordingly.

We had trouble setting up but the park host came quickly to help. He was pleasant to talk with also.
The park is easy to get in and out with level lots that are quite, beautiful and clean. The lots are in the shade with nice mature trees. It was amazing waking up to hearing the birds and seeing them through out the day. Along with the squirrels and the rabbits in hearing a rooster off in the distance. Most definitely plan to return.

Very nice campsite! We were greeted by an awesome guy named Tony who guided us in. Very clean and pet friendly. We will be back.

Stayed for two nights, 1/2 mile from Delano train, camp hosts are helpful and friendly, utility hookups in good condition. No frills but peaceful decent place to stay. More of an adult campground.

A nice quiet campground for relaxing. amenities are minimal, bathhouse, small playground, dog park, but the sites are not crowded. We liked it enough to stay an extra day. had issues with wifi, so we used the antenna or our phone's hot spot to watch a little TV. this was a good place to get acquainted with our new rv and get our younger dogs used to camping. It was a good experience, we'd come back for the peacefulness. Don't come here looking for a resort experience, come here for peace and quiet.
