What Guests Are Saying
Cages Bend Campground is highly praised for its beautiful location on Old Hickory Lake, well-maintained sites, and friendly, helpful hosts, Tanya and Donnie. Campers appreciate the cleanliness of the facilities, spacious sites, and peaceful atmosphere, making it a favorite among visitors. While some noted the lack of sewer hookups and rocky shorelines for boating, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing a desire to return.

Cages Bend is a beautiful and well maintained campground with a fantastic Campground Host! We have visited this campground for 19 years and have stayed in nearly every site! There is no "bad view" from any of them!

We had a wonderful campsite on the lake. Great views, spacious campsite, level concrete pad for the camper. If you have a kayak perfect place to put in steps from your site.
The bathhouse was clean, but needs a serious update. At the very least repainted.

Beautiful park. Bathrooms are older don’t like the shower having only one divider but over all it is a beautiful park with very nice sites. We would love to see a hiking trail somewhere. Maybe along the waters edge. Even if it’s just a half mile or so. We would volunteer to help.

Every time we come here we are very pleased. This site was really easy to back in to, and was in very good condition upon our arrival (freshly raked). We had a great view of the water and had the added benefit of being able to watch boaters backing their trailers on the boat ramp on the back side of us :). We will be back next year!
