What Guests Are Saying
Cages Bend Campground is highly praised for its beautiful location on Old Hickory Lake, well-maintained sites, and friendly, helpful hosts, Tanya and Donnie. Campers appreciate the cleanliness of the facilities, spacious sites, and peaceful atmosphere, making it a favorite among visitors. While some noted the lack of sewer hookups and rocky shorelines for boating, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing a desire to return.

We had issues with the electricity getting bright and dimming. Also it seems like trash dumpsters could have been emptied during the day.

Great place to relax and spend time with the family! Too bad they don’t have a nice swimming area!

First problem was driving into the entrance. You enter into what would seem to be the exit. Driving a pull behind for the first time proved to be a challenge backing up to go in the correct entrance. Second problem was our sight 16. Once we saw how difficult the backing was for this sight we know why it was available when we booked it. Our experienced neighbor backed it in for us but he too had a great deal of trouble. Grass needed mowing. Bath house needs much maintenance and cleaning. We did enjoy the stay however and are returning. Fishing was fun.

The place is a smaller campground which made it quiet and cozy. Not crowded at all and all the sites were clean and well kept.
Beautiful water views even from sites not directly on the water.
