After 3 1/2 trips across the country coast to coast, this is the nicest campground we have stayed at, outside of our home state of Vermont. Pretty beside the river, shaded by many trees some of them clearly 100+ years old. Quiet and seemingly secluded from the outside world. Lots of Herons, Egrets, geese and ducks out in the shallows. We will definitely return.

We book Cages Bend 3 to 4 times each summer. We love the quiet time and beautiful scenery. We always take the grandkids there every year too because they enjoy it so much.

My fire pit was rusted through the one next to me was rusted through. I go to a lot of campsites in the state of Tennessee, and it seems like Cages Bend gets the least attention.
