What Guests Are Saying
Cages Bend Campground is highly praised for its beautiful location on Old Hickory Lake, well-maintained sites, and friendly, helpful hosts, Tanya and Donnie. Campers appreciate the cleanliness of the facilities, spacious sites, and peaceful atmosphere, making it a favorite among visitors. While some noted the lack of sewer hookups and rocky shorelines for boating, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing a desire to return.

This was our second stay at Cage Bend. And we find the campground to be very nice. Bathrooms were clean but could be updated. Our problem was when we left to visit family in the area, the man at the check in shack/ camp host had all of our things removed from our site. We were in a class b motor home. So we always leave our things behind. Been doing this for years and never had a problem. Went to talk to him and he said it was my fault for not checking in with him. He then said the girls who took the things put them in the maintenance building and I could get them in the morning. In the morning I talked to one of the girls and we searched the building and our chairs, carpet and other things weren’t there. The other young lady said they put them in the dumpster, which was empty. The camp host took our number and a list of the things they took and said they would try and get us reimbursed. Halfway home we get a call and said they found our things and could we come back and get them. We were halfway through Ohio. The young man said he would try and have our things shipped us. Will change rating if we get these things back.

My gravel campsite (32) was level. I had a view of the lake. The boat ramp is beside the campground and I caught fish there. Only 3 miles to Kroger. Gallatin, TN is about 5 miles away.
