Quiet, open campground. We stayed in tents, so unsure how the cabins are. I came here a lot as a kid and loved it. It seems to now be mostly full of long term campers & RVs which ruins the experience a bit. Felt like staying in a trailer park. The lake is beautiful and the kids had fun fishing (tho it is only catch and release). The club house was locked even tho it is listed as an amenity (pool table, etc).
Staff was very friendly and helpful.

This property is absolutely beautiful! Owners were nice. Could use a lot of TLC. Only 1 dumpster in the entire place and there are a lot of contractors so it was always full. Grass needed a good trim. And evidently there is a no leash policy for dogs. Never knew when we were gonna have one show up at our door. Not sure that it deserves “Resort” status But property itself is absolutely stunning.

Long term stay for work in the area. So far, 6 months. The cabin is rustic as expected. Plenty of room. It has a full kitchen, including a stove, dinette, full bathroom with tub, living room with couch and chair, and a bedroom with a full size bed, dresser, nightstands, and clothes hanging areas. It’s right on the pond. It’s very quiet and peaceful. Car parking is on a concrete driveway. It’ll fit 2-3 vehicles. Tina and daughter are very kind and helpful. I have had one issue with a broken water pipe during a freeze, ( I forgot to let the hot water drip.) and they took care of it. A great place to come “home” to after a days work!

I look for campgrounds as i travel so coming across this one was shear luck. I stayed a few months and loved it, the owner and staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The sites are a nice size and the park itself is remote which is exactly what I wanted (a town in either direction about 12 miles from the camp). My site has a fantastic view over the pond and I have nothing but good things to say. I stayed for the winter and the only problem i had was the ice storm which has nothing to do with the campground. If you are looking for a quiet, friendly place this campground is an excellant choice.

First of all. Do NOT look at the pics of the place and think that’s what it looks like. Secondly, the bathrooms are absolutely deplorable even by campground standards. 3 toilets in the men’s room…no toilet paper…no paper towels…no soap…NADA! Women’s room was worse. Wife found used tampons haphazardly thrown into a corner of the stalls. Site was a dump. Had a pile of debris right in the middle of the site…literally no table, no, fire pit. Told management and was basically told sorry about your luck. Would put a 0 out of 5 if I could.
